get a taste & exchange

In February, the “Get a taste & exchange” format at the UNESCO secondary school GWPabstGasse invites you to examine and discuss key issues from everyday school life together. On site, there is the opportunity to talk to children and parents, teachers and the school management, experience different teaching situations and then reflect together on what they have experienced.

Main topics:

• Language / inclusion
  How can we strengthen our children’s language skills and provide them with targeted support in their personal development? Classically and/or unconventionally?
  How can inclusion succeed in a highly heterogeneous school and be practiced effectively in everyday life?
• Parent involvement
  How do we get parents on board at school and create a school partnership at eye level, with the child at the center?
• Participation processes
  How do we enable dynamic and process-oriented participation with our students, within the teaching staff and together with parents?

Participation is free of charge, registration is required

The series is aimed at teachers, school administrators and anyone interested in new approaches to education. Together with School on the move and the Vienna University of Teacher Education we make visible what is already working in practice and invite you to think and participate.
