The terms “Impact Hub Vienna”, “we”, “us” and “our” include Impact Hub Vienna GmbH and our affiliated companies. As part of a joint responsibility pursuant to Art 26 GDPR, all of the controllers listed below have determined that all obligations are fulfilled at Impact Hub Vienna, Lindengasse 56, 1070 Vienna, in particular with regard to the exercise of the rights of data subjects and that Impact Hub Vienna complies with all information obligations pursuant to Articles 12 et seq. of the GDPR in this data protection declaration.

The joint controllers are Impact Hub Vienna GmbH, FN 333527g and Impact Hub Education gGmbH, FN 625561v.

  • Data categories

We collect information that you provide to us when you create your profile, select interests or groups, fill out a form or communicate with us. The information we collect includes your

  2. “Behavioral data”, such as individual preferences, interests, habits, online activities, interaction history
  3. Communication data (e.g. telephone, e-mail, address);
  4. Payment data;
  5. Photos;
  6. Selection of interests;
  7. Areas of work, including job title, name of employee, contractual terms of employment, employee’s career to date and qualifications

To analyze room performance, user behavior, tariff compliance and other key figures, we collect, process and use data from access systems, in particular, but not exclusively, when and where you enter or leave the premises. Such data may also be provided to us by third parties.

We may collect information about you from other sources, such as other third party sources. In order to provide you with tailored recommendations, we may obtain information about you from publicly and commercially available sources and from other third parties as permitted by law. In this case, we will inform you of the collection of your data from public registers within one month.   • Cookies and other technologies

We also collect information such as usage statistics using cookies, server logs and similar technologies.

Log information: We collect log information about your use of services and platforms, including the type of browser you use, the time, duration and frequency of your access, the platform pages you view, your IP address and the page you visited before coming to our platform.

Device informationWe collect information about the computer or mobile device you use to access our services and platforms, including hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers and mobile network information.

  • Pixel tags

We use pixel tags. These are electronic images that can be used in our platform or in emails and track the use of our platform and the effectiveness of communication.

A pixel from Facebook Ireland Limited (Website Custom Audience Pixel) is integrated on this website. This pixel pseudonymizes information about your use of this website (e.g. information about articles viewed). The information collected can be used for personalization, e.g. to advertise preferred product groups and products to you on your Facebook account.

  • Facebook social plugins

This website uses so-called social plugins (“plugins”) of the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Inc, 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). The plugins are marked with a Facebook logo or the addition “Social plugin from Facebook” or “Facebook Social Plugin”. The European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision for data transfers to the USA, according to which the United States guarantees an adequate level of protection comparable to that of the European Union.

When you access a page on our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Facebook directly to your browser, which integrates it into the website.

By integrating the plugins, Facebook receives the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a Facebook account or are not currently logged in to Facebook. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted directly from your browser to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there.

If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can assign your visit to our website to your Facebook account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the “Like” button or leaving a comment, the corresponding information is also sent directly to a Facebook server and stored there. The information is also published on Facebook and displayed to your Facebook friends.

Data processing is carried out on the basis of the statutory provisions of Section 96 (3) TKG and Article 6 (1) (a) (consent) and/or Article 6 (1) (f) (legitimate interest) of the General Data Protection Regulation.

  • YouTube plugins

Videos from the YouTube portal, a company of Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA), are integrated on our website. When a video is played, a connection to the YouTube or Google servers is established. This tells these servers which of our websites you have visited. If you are logged in to YouTube as a member, YouTube assigns this information to your personal user account.

If you do not want Google or YouTube to assign the data collected via our website directly to your profile, you can also completely prevent the Google plugins from loading with add-ons for your browser, e.g. with the script blocker “No Script” ( http://noscript.net/).

This website uses services provided by HubSpot Inc (“HubSpot”), located at 2 Canal Park, Cambridge, MA 02141, USA. HubSpot is an integrated software platform that we use to cover various aspects of our online marketing. This includes email marketing, social media marketing and contact management (e.g. user segmentation & CRM). The information collected is stored on the servers of our software partner HubSpot.

  • Bit carvers

This website uses the services of Bit Carvers, sro (“Bit Carvers”), based in Neklanova 112/9, 128 00 Prague, Czech Republic. Bit Carvers is an integrated software platform that we use to develop, maintain and manage our customer database and to bill for the services offered.   • Revocation of the cookie consent

You can set your computer to warn you each time a cookie is sent, or you can deactivate cookies in general. You can do this via your browser settings, use the help function of your browser for the correct cookie setting. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of our website.

You provide us with the data listed under point 2 voluntarily, whereby the data processing takes place on the basis of your consent for the following purposes:

In addition to networking with your local Impact Hub community, membership of Impact Hub Vienna also offers you the opportunity to network and collaborate with the global Impact Hub.

To facilitate this opportunity for exchange and collaboration on a global level, Impact Hub offers you access to our own social networking platform, the Community App. The Community App has been provided and is operated by Impact Hub Zürich AG, Sihlquai 131, 8005 Zurich, Switzerland.

In order to create your personal profile in the community app, we pass on some information about you to the provider of the community app, Impact Hub Zürich AG, Sihlquai 131, 8005 Zurich, Switzerland. Until you actively register for the community app, this information is only available to the responsible employees of Impact Hub GmbH and the employees of Impact Hub Vienna.

As a member of the app, you can access the app for members or the online platform via your login. In the app and on the online platform, you can manage personal data, communicate with other members, use the services provided and view information provided by the Impact Hub Vienna or by other members. If you have registered in the app or on the online platform, we may link your online usage data, such as the way you use the app or the online platform and the services provided via the app or the online platform, or the data you provide to us via the app or the online platform, with other member data that we collect and process in connection with your use of our services and process it for the provision of the services and functions in the app or the online platform, for marketing purposes and for the evaluation, improvement and new development of services and functions.
