Learning reorganized: When young people set their own pace.

Many innovative concepts are created where people dare to try something new. Numerous methods have long been successfully implemented in individual kindergartens and schools – but they often remain hidden.

In order to demonstrate precisely this, we have joined forces with School on the Move and the PH Vienna, we have organized the series get a taste & exchange series.

We visit inspiring educational institutions together and create space for exchange, new perspectives and practical learning among colleagues.

On October 23, the trip will take us to the TGM Vienna . Back in 2016, a model was developed here that goes far beyond traditional learning: the learning office.

Scientifically supported and continuously developed, it combines fixed structures with great freedom. Young people choose for themselves which topics they want to delve into and when, decide on their own pace and learn in settings that are characterized by projects, independent work and individual support.

A learning office means: taking responsibility, thinking independently, designing together.

With targeted formats for self-reflection, young people are encouraged to take a critical look at their learning processes and consciously manage them. Supported by learning coaches, they develop not only professional but also personal skills.

You can expect an exciting morning in which we will immerse ourselves in this special learning setting. We will talk to those responsible and reflect on which elements you can transfer to your own everyday life.

Because get a taste & exchange always means learning from each other and exploring new paths together.

The series is aimed at teachers, school administrators and anyone interested in new approaches to education. Together with School on the move and the Vienna University of Teacher Education we make visible what is already working in practice and invite you to think and participate.
