Senior Buddies are experienced teachers who want to share and pass on their many years of experience. They come from different types of schools and subject areas and have a common approach: Learning is most successful where relationships, trust and a focus on strengths take center stage.
The Senior Buddies do not see themselves as traditional trainers, but as learning partners. The monthly workshops are not about perfect concepts or ready-made recipes, but about sharing, testing and thinking ahead together.
We take up a specific thematic focus in each case and highlight different approaches to learning, personal development and mental health.
Theater and drama pedagogy as a method for personality development.
In this workshop, together with Ruth Bulant, we will immerse ourselves in exercises that can be easily integrated into the classroom. Theater and drama pedagogy offers ways in which children can express themselves, listen, become more courageous and feel more confident in working together .
This not only makes learning more lively, but also more socially and emotionally sustainable.
What you can expect:
Ruth presents tried-and-tested methods and short exercises
Selected formats are tried out together
We discuss how the methods can be used in the classroom.

Who is this workshop for?
For educators and those interested in education who are looking for new approaches to strengthen personal development, relationships and a positive learning environment in everyday life.
The Senior Buddies workshop series takes place once a month. Each session focuses on a different topic – from theater and drama pedagogy to working on strengths, mindfulness and communication through to participatory forms of learning. The aim is to offer inspiration, provide concrete ideas and strengthen the exchange between participants.
Participation is free of charge! Registration is requested.
