Education Lab Venture Fellowship
The Venture Fellowship is a joint initiative by Education Lab, The Things We Learn, and Wirkt.. It supports non-profit educational organizations in Vienna in growing their services and making a real difference, where it matters most: with children and young people. The first cohort began in June 2025.
Why a Fellowship?
Vienna has a strong education system. Schools, kindergartens, and extracurricular spaces are full of committed educators and promising ideas. But we also know: equal access to education is not guaranteed. Social inequalities emerge early, and not all children have the same chance to realize their potential.
At the same time, many educational organizations already have great solutions , but turning a successful pilot into lasting, system-wide impact is tough. That’s where the Venture Fellowship comes in providing structure, focus, and personal support to help initiatives scale sustainably.
Who is it for?
- have already successfully tested their solution,
- are ready to sharpen their strategy and internal structure,
- and want to expand their impact across Vienna’s education system.
Why is the Venture Fellowship needed?
