Education Lab Venture Fellowship
The Venture Fellowship is a joint program of the Education Lab with The Things We Learn and works. It supports non-profit educational organizations in Vienna in strategically developing and growing their services and making an impact where it is needed: with children and young people. The first round starts in June 2025.
Why is the Venture Fellowship needed?
Vienna has a strong education system. There are many ideas – schools, kindergartens and extracurricular facilities are doing a lot, supported by committed educators. At the same time, we know that Equal education is not a matter of course. Social differences are reflected early on – not all children have the same opportunities to develop their potential.
Many educational organizations have good ideas, but the path from a successful pilot project to sustainable impact in the system is challenging. This is exactly where the Fellowship comes in – with structure, focus and personal support.
Who is there?
- have already successfully tested their offer,
- are prepared to sharpen their structures,
- and want to expand their impact in the city’s education system.
Why is the Venture Fellowship needed?
Seven months, two phases: Development and implementation. A small, dedicated cohort of education organizations work on their strategy for impact and growth in the Education Lab from June to December 2025.
They are accompanied by venture architects, experienced mentors, education experts – and a community that goes along with them.
