FABB Social Media is an initiative of Karin Granner and the Impact Hub Viennasupported by the Education Lab.
Together, we are launching a curated series of workshops in which we want to work with committed people and experts to develop and refine specific ideas for a healthier approach to social media. We are looking for best-practice methods and formats that work and effectively reach as many people as possible, as well as doers who can put these ideas into practice.
We are looking for students, pupils, parents, silver agers, people of all ages who want to work with young people, parents, grannies and grandpas, boys, girls, migrants, no matter what social group. Or are already doing so.
What are we not looking for? Ideas that focus on technology or the legal framework.
As a participant, you choose one of the thematic workshops that best suits your specific idea or the area in which you would like to work.
to present your idea,
to further develop and sharpen your idea with other experts,
your interest in contributing your practical and specialist knowledge,
to work together in project teams and
to then present the ideas developed to a selected audience at the final event in January.
In the process, we want to learn, network and understand how we can support you and the ecosystem most effectively.
Workshop 1 on November 6: “Informed & conscious use”
Workshop 2 on November 20: “Psychological effects & healthy use”
Workshop 3 on December 4: “Reduced usage – digital resilience & going offline”
