Fundraising Masterclass: From Outreach to Relationship Building

The next Edupreneur meetup on November 9 will focus entirely on successful fundraising—from the right approach to building lasting relationships. Whether it’s philanthropic funding, corporate partnerships, or public funds—the vast majority of educational initiatives and social enterprises rely on such funding sources as part of their business models. But how can you identify these funding opportunities? How do you approach the relevant donors? How do you negotiate successfully with them to secure attractive funding partnerships? And how can you successfully engage these partners for the long term?

That’s what this fundraising masterclass with Jakob Detering. He brings more than 15 years of fundraising experience to the table—as a social entrepreneur, foundation manager, and executive director, both locally and globally. He’ll share proven approaches, concrete examples, and personal insights from securing and sustaining long-term funding partnerships.

The masterclass is intentionally interactive: you’ll work on identifying specific potential donors and partners for your own initiatives. Together, you’ll identify suitable points of contact, develop compelling arguments, and prepare next steps for reaching out and building relationships.
