Democracy Through Play! Exploring and Experiencing Democratic Processes

What does genuine participation feel like—and what makes collaboration truly effective and inclusive? In this hands-on workshop, as a teacher, educator, or educational designer, you’ll experience in a playful way how democracy works even on a small scale and how these experiences can be applied to everyday life at school or in preschool.

Together, we develop new perspectives on democracy, successful cooperation, and engaging learning. Together, we explore democratic processes in ways that students can also experience firsthand.

Of course, your own experiences and approaches are also important and welcome—that’s how we can generate new ideas together for experiencing democracy in a playful way through education.

The workshop will take place on six dates, each on a Friday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. You’re welcome to attend just one session—and if you’d like to learn more, you can dive deeper into the subject at the remaining sessions. Be sure to mark your calendar for the upcoming dates right away!
